The Provost of Ogun State College of Nursing Sciences, Dr. Mrs. Jeminat Sodimu, expressed her commitment to prioritizing students' welfare during a visit by a delegation from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) National Headquarters. Dr. Sodimu emphasized her quick attention to student and staff welfare since assuming office and sought support from NANS. She encouraged student leaders to be ambassadors of peace and progress, urging them to focus on promoting the students' association. Dr. Sodimu assured continued support for the delegation and highlighted education as the top priority of the Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration. The NANS delegation commended the college for its efforts in nursing education and welfare, acknowledging the positive impact on providing quality healthcare. They also praised the institution for addressing accommodation and security issues and appealed to the Ogun State Government to collaborate with the private sector for improvements across the college campuses.
